A Cinderella Story

Growing up in California and in the latino culture, the classic Nike Cortez shoe has always been a iconic staple item. The iconic silhouette has been remastered by YG. The shoe truly feels like it represents this West Coast born and raised fashion enthusiast. Cinderella is my favorite Disney princess since I was a little girl afterall, she did wear a blue dress. The moment I opened the shoe box and picked up the shoe I felt as if this was my version of a glass slipper. The white skirt was a tribute to a legendary woman I’ve admired my entire life, Serena Williams.
